The Star Sapphire keychain card

Enjoy shopping convenience with the new Star Sapphire keychain card. Now, you can tote this handy loyalty card. How to Earn points:

1. Just present your Star Sapphire Card or Key chain card to the cashier BEFORE any purchase* at Rustan’s Supermarket. Remember, NO CARD, NO POINTS. *cash and credit card purchases

2. Every peso spent in Rustan’s Supermarkets earns you one (1) point. P1 = 1 point

3. For points crediting, your purchases will be rounded off to the nearest whole number. P3,442.75 = 3,443 points P2,559.35 = 2,559 points

4. You can also earn points when you purchase regular Gift Certificates under the Gift Certificates Sales Program. However, you DO NOT earn points when you make purchases using your Electronic Gift Certificates, regular gift certificates, and Merchandise Return and Exchange (MRE) slips.

Redeeming your points

• Every 10,000 points earned will give you one (1) P150.00 Electronic gift certificate! o 10,000 points = one (1) P150.00 Electronic Gift Certificate (eGC)
  
  
• To convert your points to eGCs, simply present your Star Sapphire Card to the Customer Service Counter of any Rustan’s Supermarket branch together with a valid ID with picture. You will also need to key-in your 4-digit PIN.
  
  
• eGCs will automatically be credited to your Star Sapphire card. To use your eGC, just present your Sapphire card to the cashier when paying for your purchase. The eGC value will automatically be deducted from your total bill.
  
  
• eGCs are valid for six (6) months from the date of redemption.
  
  
• All points must be redeemed within one (1) year from the time they were earned. Failure to redeem within the given period will mean the automatic forfeiture of all earned points.
  

How to keep track of your points

• Points inquiries may be done at the Customer Service of any Rustan’s Supermarket branches.
  
  
• Or you may log on to www.rustansfresh.com
  
  
• Account statements will also be sent monthly to your email address (remember to update your email address regularly to receive our monthly electronic statements)

Other Services

For damaged and lost cards:

• Fill up the Loyalty Data Update Form at any Rustan’s Supermarket branch
  
  
• Surrender your damaged card, if applicable
  
  
• Present a valid ID with picture and key in your 4-digit PIN for verification
  
  
• In one (1) week, your new Star Sapphire Card (with the same name, account number, and membership date) will be ready for pick-up.

Forgotten PIN or change of PIN

• Just approach the Customer Service counter at any Rustan’s Supermarket branch and present one (1) valid ID with picture, together with your Star Sapphire card
  
  
• Your card will be swiped and you will be asked to enter a new PIN.

Change of Personal Data

• Keep your personal information updated by reporting any changes to the Customer Service personnel at any Rustan’s Supermarket branch
  
  
• Fill up the Loyalty Data Update Form for record purposes and to document these changes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. If your Star Sapphire Card account does not show purchases made in one (1) year, your account will be considered inactive, and all points earned will be forfeited.

2. Your Star Sapphire membership is valid for two (2) years. Membership status will be reviewed on a regular basis.

3. Make sure you present your Star Sapphire Card to the cashier BEFORE you pay for your purchases. You may check on your points as early as two (2) days after you earn them.

4. For your own safety, immediately report lost Star Sapphire Cards. Rustan’s Supermarkets will not be responsible for the loss and/or unauthorized use of cards.

5. Any misrepresentation, abuse or failure to follow the terms and conditions, may be used as basis to revoke your membership and will affect your further participation as a Star Sapphire Card member.

6. Your Star Sapphire Rewards points, as reflected in the Rustan’s Supermarkets records shall be deemed correct. Rustan’s Supermarkets reserves the right to determine the amount of points to be awarded to any transaction following the guidelines of the Star Sapphire program.

7. Rustan’s Supermarkets also reserves the right to cancel, modify, or restrict any aspect of the program at anytime, with or without prior notice to its members.

8. In the event that the program is terminated, members must use up their earned points within a 60-day period from the date of program termination.

9. The failure of Rustan’s Supermarkets to enforce a particular term, condition, or guideline does not mean that it is waived.

10. Star Sapphire Card holders are subjected to, and are deemed to have accepted, the above Terms and Conditions upon signing the application form.
